UNITED CITY CHURCH | Humble, Texas

Project completed by Andrew Oxley while serving as Principal at a previous firm.

Damaged by Hurricane Harvey, the existing building needed extensive redesign and reconstruction. The narrow corridor connecting the Worship Center to the classroom wing left little room for anything other than circulation. By reconfiguring the classroom layout, additional space was added to the Commons which now provides areas for people to connect in a conversation-fostering environment. The Worship Center was expanded and the platform reconfigured while the church continued to have services within the space.

The facility serves by providing space for people to learn and worship. Within the building, this ministry equips people for prison ministry, Kids Hope USA, and offers English as Second Language classes.
