A new, ground-up facility includes 400 seat auditorium, Commons area with cafe, and Children’s education space. To respond to a smaller budget, OXLEY utilized a pre-engineered metal building frame for the structural system and exposed the frame at the large covered patio. By implementing this patio, the interior area of the Commons could be reduced with additional required space being covered outdoor area, further decreasing the cost for the required program.
