The Door Church | Lewisville, Texas

Project completed by Andrew Oxley while serving as Principal at a previous firm.

The challenge was creating a facility that fit within a tight, linear site, while preserving a stand of hundred year old oaks. While the trees could have been removed, the project team and church felt they were an important area on the site. In the completed project, this area became a prayer garden and a place for reflection. The building is designed to expand efficiently while maintaining operations during construction.
